SCOPE
*******
The International Conference on Computer Graphics Theory and
Applications (GRAPP) aims at becoming a major point of contact between
researchers, engineers and practitioners in Computer Graphics. In the
first year of this new venue, we have chosen Interactive Environments
for Computer Graphics as the main topic. Indeed, games and virtual
environments currently dominate both research and practice in our
field. The conference will be structured along four main tracks,
covering different aspects related to Computer Graphics, from Modeling
to Rendering, including Animation and Interactive Environments. We
welcome papers describing original work in any of the areas listed
below. Accepted papers, presented at the conference by one of the
authors, will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Papers
describing advanced prototypes, systems, tools and techniques as well
as general survey papers indicating future directions are also
encouraged. Paper acceptance will be based on quality, relevance to
the conference themes and originality. The conference program will
include both oral and poster presentations. Special sessions,
dedicated to case-studies and commercial presentations, as well as
technical tutorials, dedicated to technical/scientific topics, are
also envisaged. Companies interested in presenting their
products/methodologies or researchers interested in lecturing a
tutorial are invited to contact the conference secretariat.

Each paper should clearly indicate the nature of its technical/scientific contribution, and the problems, domains or environments to which it is applicable.
Due to space limitations in the Proceedings, the camera-ready versions of accepted papers will be limited to 8 (eight) pages for long oral presentations, 6 (six) for short oral presentations (progress reports) and 4 (four) for poster presentations. If absolutely needed, the number of pages may be increased up to a maximum of 12. However, for each page in excess of the maximum allowed, the author will have to pay an additional fee.
Submission procedure:
A "double-blind" paper refereeing method will be used. Authors are kindly requested to provide full paper manuscripts, WITHOUT any reference to any of the authors. The manuscript must contain, in its first page, the paper title, an abstract and a list of keywords but NO NAMES OR CONTACT DETAILS WHATSOEVER are to be included in any part of this file.
Submissions should be uploaded to the conference website as a ZIP archive containing two files: author(s) information in one and the paper, without any author(s) information, in another. LaTeX/PS/PDF/DOC format are accepted.
The web submission facility will automatically send acknowledgement of submission by e-mail to the contact author. Please contact the secretariat if no confirmation is received.
If the author is unable to use the web-based procedure then he/she can send the aforementioned zip file by e-mail to the secretariat Authors should also indicate the conference area (including the topics) to which the paper is submitted, using a supplied form.
