The 3IA International Conference on Computer Graphics and
Artificial Intelligence takes place every year in Limoges
(FRANCE). The aim of this Conference is to present the current
state of researches of Computer Graphics researchers who
use Artificial Intelligence techniques.
The tenth 3IA International Conference (3IA'2007) will take place
in May 2007, in Athens (GREECE).
TOPICS :
Under the title "Computer Graphics and Artificial Intelligence", several
themes could be covered by the authors of papers. The following list gives

Web 3D games
Web-based 3D games are having an increasing social and economic impact and since this field is covering large areas of computer science research it has gained growing interest from the scientific community, as well.
The workshop aims at involving researchers, developers, and stakeholders in order to provide a forum fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and cooperation between academia and industry by pinpointing and discussing state of the art and future technologies, theories, tools and scenarios of use, that are related to Web 3D games. Both research and applications papers are of interest to the workshop.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
o Content and character modeling
o Character design
o Tools, platforms and systems for games and Virtual reality
o Advanced user interaction (hw and sw)
o Graphics, rendering and visualization (level of detail, textures, lighting, etc.)
o 3D sound
o Tools and methods for web-game design (e.g. supporting architectures, quality of service, scalability, etc.)
o Tools and metrics for game design evaluation
o Artificial Intelligence techniques
o Interactive narratives
o Intelligent agents and gamebots
o Multi-user management
o Distributed gaming architectures

Authors are invited to submit their work for review by the international Program Committee.
Submissions (in PDF format, and according to the ACM templates: http://www.acm.org/sigs/pubs/proceed/template.html) have to be submitted to the following adddress: w3Dg2007(a)elios.unige.it, and, in copy: info(a)elios.unige.it.
The papers (3-page short paper, 6-page full paper) must be innovative and contribute to the advancement of technologies for web-3D games. The main criteria for the review process will be: originality, technical quality, clarity of presentation, and in its relevance to the field.

The Eurographics Symposium on Rendering 2007 (http://egsr07.inrialpes.fr)
will take place in Grenoble, France, from June 25 to June 27, 2007.
This is an event in the series of highly successful Eurographics
Symposia on Rendering and the Eurographics Workshops on Rendering,
held over the past 17 years.
The local organizer of the conference is Nicolas Holzschuch. The
program chairs are Jan Kautz and Sumanta Pattanaik.

We welcome short papers (max. 6 pages) as well as full papers (max. 12
pages). Only electronic submissions will be accepted. This year we
will set aside about 75% of accepted papers for oral presentations and
25% for poster presentations. Note that all the accepted papers will
be chosen through the same rigorous selection process, and will be
published in the proceedings --- only the presentation form
changes. We believe that this new format will allow for ample
discussion time.

Each full paper for submission should be formatted using the EG
publication style proceedings templates. It must not be longer than
twelve(12) pages in length, including references and figures.
Each short paper for submission should be formatted and submitted in
the same way as a full paper, except that its length must not be
longer than six(6) pages.
The presentation format will allow for ample discussion time. Only
electronic submissions will be accepted through the Precision
Conference System
The authors of each accepted paper need to complete and return the EG
Copyright Assignment Form.
Note: This year there is very little time between acceptance
notification and the due date for camera ready copies of the paper. We
will therefore have to strictly enforce all deadlines.

Aims and Scope of the Symposium

Following successful previous workshops/symposia that were held in
Braga (PT) 2006, Grenoble (F) 2004, Blaubeuren (D) 2002, Girona (E) 2000, Rennes (F) 1998 and Bristol (UK) 1996 we are happy to
announce the 7th Eurographics Symposium on Parallel Graphics and Visualization.
The aim of this symposium is to share experiences and knowledge of
parallel and distributed computing and its application to all aspects
of computer graphics, virtual reality, scientific and engineering
visualization.

Papers Submission

The proceedings of the symposium will be published in the Eurographics Proceedings Series and on the Eurographics Digital Library.
There is a page limit of eight pages for the submitted papers. These must be prepared as a PDF file adhering strictly to the Eurographics Submission Instructions.
A special journal issue for selected papers is planned and currently under negotiation.
Short papers are also accepted to help disseminate work in progress. Each will
be allowed a 4 page publication in a separate booklet distributed to the symposium attendees.
