The ICAT-EGVE 2022 conference will be held between November 30th and December 2nd at Keio University, Yokohama, Japan. The ICAT-EGVE is the merger of the 32nd International Conference on Artificial Reality and Telexistence (ICAT 2022) and the 27th Eurographics Symposium on Virtual Environments (EGVE 2022). Together, these are two of the oldest international conferences in the world on Artificial Reality and Virtual Environments.

We invite the submission of Papers, Posters and Demonstrations describing novel research ideas, work in progress, recently completed work, preliminary results, or unusual systems and applications.
ICAT-EGVE 2022 seeks inspiring submissions describing research, applications or systems in all areas of Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, Telexistence, and 3D User Interfaces, e.g., the following non-exhaustive list of more specific areas:
* 3D interaction for VR/AR/MR
* VR/AR/MR systems and toolkits
* User studies and evaluation for VR/AR/MR
* Telexistence, Telepresence and Teleimmersion
* Haptics, audio, and other non-visual modalities
* Serious games and edutainment using VR/AR/MR
* Presence, cognition, and embodiment in VR/AR/MR
* Novel devices (both input and output) for VR/AR/MR, and haptics
* Multi-user and distributed VR/AR/MR, Tele-immersion and Telepresence
* Immersive projection technologies and other advanced display technologies
Submissions in other related areas are welcome too.
- Submission Guidelines: Papers
The conference invites full and short paper submissions:
-- Full papers must not exceed eight (8) pages in length (excluding references).
-- Short papers must not exceed four (4) pages in length (excluding references).
-- Both full and short papers must be in English and should be formatted using the Eurographics format. A sample LaTeX document for ICAT-EGVE 2022 can be found here:

-- ICAT-EGVE uses a double-blind review process. CVM 2023 Call for Papers - Welcome to Shenzhen, China
GENERAL INFORMATION
With the rapid progress in recent technologies, large-scale visual data can be found on the Internet, bringing significant opportunities for novel processing of visual information, as well as commercial applications. Systematically managing such data, finding patterns in it, understanding them, efficiently processing them, and making best use of them present great challenges. The Computational Visual Media Conference series, of which this is the 11th, will provide a forum for exchanging recent research ideas and practical achievements in all areas and applications of Visual Media.
The Computational Visual Media Conference 2023 will be run in plenary sessions (no parallel tracks) on the dates April 6-8, 2023, and will be hosted by Shenzhen University.

# Job Description
We are looking for a candidate with proven scientific expertise in the field of Mixed Reality in research and teaching.
The following areas are of particular interest:
- Mixed Reality displays, in particular optical see-through head-mounted displays (design, algorithms, calibration)
- Eye-tracking for Mixed Reality
- Spatial perception, cognition and interaction in Mixed Reality
The successful candidate will cover these or other topics in Mixed Reality. It is expected that the candidate closely collaborates with the institute’s strategic industrial partners in the area of Mixed Reality and leads a research team funded through such industrial collaborations.
The position is initially funded by SNAP, Inc.
The professorship will be part of the Institute of Computer Graphics and Vision (www.icg.tugraz.at), which is an internationally visible research environment with more than 60 researchers in Visual Computing.
The new professor will complement the existing strengths in the department, will build an internationally visible group, will be an engaged teacher in the Computer Science programs at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD level, and will actively participate in academic self-administration. At Graz University of Technology, undergraduate courses are taught in German or English, and graduate courses are taught in English.

# Our Offer
The advertised position is a tenure-track career position. After the conclusion of a qualification agreement, the job holder is appointed as an Assistant Professor. After a positive evaluation of the qualification agreement, the position will be turned into a permanent position as an Associate Professor. After a further competitive procedure, a promotion to a Full Professor is possible.
The position will be paid according to the collective agreement for employees of Austrian universities, stipulating an initial gross annual salary of € 62.829,20, and includes medical and retirement insurance.
