We are pleased to announce an extension of the submission deadline for the VisGames 2025 Workshop, collocated with EuroVis 2025. Website: https://visgames2025.netlify.app/ The VisGames workshop aims to advance the role of data visualization games and playful activities as effective methods for communication, co-creation, and collaborative problem-solving in interdisciplinary research and professional contexts. The workshop will highlight innovative applications of visualization games beyond educational settings, emphasizing their potential to foster dialogue, facilitate shared understanding, and inspire novel solutions. Updated Submission Deadline 📅 Extended Abstracts Due: March 14, 2025 March 23, 2025 (11:59 PM AoE) 📢 Author Notification: April 16, 2025 📑 Camera-Ready Submission: May 2, 2025 The half-day workshop will include a combination of an opening session, hands-on World Café-style sessions, and a concluding discussion to explore the design, implementation, and impact of visualization games. CFP - ICAT-EGVE 2025 Organization The ICAT-EGVE 2025 conference will be held between December 3rd and December 5th at Blekinge Institute of Technology, Karlskrona, Sweden. The ICAT-EGVE is the merger of the 35th International Conference on Artificial Reality and Telexistence (ICAT 2025) and the 30th Eurographics Symposium on Virtual Environments (EGVE 2025). Together, these are two of the oldest international conferences in the world on Artificial Reality and Virtual Environments. Submissions We invite the submission of Papers, Posters and Demonstrations describing novel research ideas, work in progress, recently completed work, preliminary results, or unusual systems and applications. ICAT-EGVE 2025 seeks inspiring submissions describing research, applications or systems in all areas of Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, Telexistence, and 3D User Interfaces, e.g., the following non-exhaustive list of more specific areas: * 3D interaction for VR/AR/MR * VR/AR/MR systems and toolkits * User studies and evaluation for VR/AR/MR * Telexistence, Telepresence and Teleimmersion * Haptics, audio, and other non-visual modalities * Serious games and edutainment using VR/AR/MR * Presence, cognition, perception, and embodiment in VR/AR/MR * Novel devices (both input and output) for VR/AR/MR, and haptics * Multi-user and distributed VR/AR/MR, Tele-immersion and Telepresence * Immersive projection technologies and other advanced display technologies Submissions in other related areas are welcome too. Dear colleagues, We are calling for (self-)nomination to serve on the Technical Papers Committee (TPC) for SIGGRAPH Asia 2025. If you're interested in joining the SA 2025 TPC member pool, please read this e-mail carefully. ** Eligibility ** SIGGRAPH TPC members typically hold PhD degrees and have published multiple papers at SIGGRAPH and/or graphics-related top venues such as Eurographics, CVPR, and CHI. If you have served on the TPC for SIGGRAPH Asia 2023 and 2024 or if you are currently on the SIGGRAPH 2025 TPC, please do not apply this year. ** Duties ** We expect each TPC member to be a primary reviewer for approximately 10 papers and a secondary reviewer for another 10. Primary Reviewer. This role is similar to that of a journal associate editor. EUROGRAPHICS 2025 - Education Papers Call for papers Deadline: Feb 21, 2025 The scope of the track includes topics in education concerned with computer graphics and related areas, relevant teaching/classroom experience, as well as assignments for use in these subject areas. We invite authors to submit papers, panels and outstanding student projects specifically related but not limited to the following topics: - Teaching Computer Graphics courses to diverse audiences and levels. - Teaching related areas such as Visualisation, Animation, VR/AR/XR, 3D printing, and Game Development. - Designing and teaching face-to-face, online and hybrid courses in the above mentioned areas. - Enabling and exploiting visual tools and techniques to teach in other disciplines. - Promoting undergraduate research in Computer Graphics. **Timeline** All following deadlines are at 23:59 UTC. [GCH2025] Call for Papers

& You are cordially invited to contribute to the 23rd EUROGRAPHICS Workshop on Graphics and Cultural Heritage (GCH) as part of the 4th DigitalHeritage World Congress and Expo (DH2025) organised in Siena (Italy), from September 8 to 13, 2025 DH2025 (https://digitalheritage2025.unisi.it/digital-heritage/) welcomes presentations of new research, projects, demonstrations and applications that demonstrate how computer graphics and other digital technologies are impacting cultural heritage research, preservation and dissemination and promoting sustainable cultural tourism. Specific sessions will be organised to seek new challenges and projects involving different stakeholders of the Heritage ecosystem. Hence, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches are particularly welcome to the event. A groundbreaking public exhibition of cutting-edge digital heritage projects will also be set up. Following the successful format of the previous editions, the conference will have a single call for papers and a coordinated scientific review process. Location In 2025 the Congress is organised in Siena (Italy), one of the most important cities in mediaeval Europe. The whole city, with its iconic Piazza del Campo, was devised as a work of art that blends into the surrounding landscape. Objectives We are seeking original, innovative and previously unpublished contributions in theoretical or applied Digital Heritage domains. All papers will have a blind peer review by the International Programme Committee (IPC). The IPC seeks for every submission at least one "digital" and one "heritage" reviewer to ensure a rich diversity of accepted works spanning both technology and humanities. All submissions will be reviewed for originality, significance, clarity, impact, and soundness. Each submission shall indicate the specific Digital Heritage 2025 Track that is relevant to the submission (see below "Tracks and Special Sessions"). You can submit full or short papers, special sessions (tutorials, workshops and panels), and exhibitions (follow dedicated "call for exhibits"). Each submission will be reviewed by an international program committee for technical quality, novelty, significance, and clarity. Papers should be written and presented in English. There is no strict maximum length for submitted papers. However, we recommend that research papers be up to 16 pages (excluding references), and longer papers should make a very significant contribution. Authors are encouraged to use supplementary documents to provide extra content. A paper submission should describe an original work of the authors. Authors must not use ideas or content originating from others without properly crediting their original sources. Optional supplemental material does not count towards this suggested limit. Supplementary material such as videos may also be submitted electronically and will be made available to reviewers (size up to 500MB). Videos are required for techniques involving motion or animation. Submitted articles will receive two rounds of reviewing by at least three (3) expert reviewers. Technical papers conditionally accepted in the first round will undergo a second round of revision and review and, conditional on final acceptance, will be published in the PACMCGIT <https://dl.acm.org/journal/pacmcgit> issue on SCA 2025. Introduction The general objective of the 3D Shape Retrieval Challenge is to evaluate the effectiveness of 3D-shape retrieval algorithms. SHREC2025 is the twentieth edition of the challenge. Like previous years, it is organized in conjunction with the Eurographics Symposium on 3D Object Retrieval, where the results will be reviewed and presented at the symposium. Thanks to the efforts of previous track organizers, SHREC already provides many resources to compare and evaluate 3D retrieval methods. For this year's contest, we aim to explore new and updated tracks. Therefore, the participants are invited to have an active role in the organization of the event. This includes proposing track themes, building or acquiring a training and test collection, and deciding upon the queries, relevance assessment, and performance measures. The participants of each track will collectively write a paper, which will be peer reviewed, and published in Computers & Graphics upon acceptance. At least one author per track must register for the symposium, and present the results. The registration must be unique for the paper, multiple papers on one registration does not count. We also cordially invite all other participants of a track to register and attend the workshop. Tracks The tracks organized in the past years have covered different aspects and tasks of 3D shape retrieval, for example: rigid or non-rigid models; partial (e.g. range scan) or complete models; sketch-based 3D retrieval; generic or domain specific models (e.g. CAD, biometrics, architectural and molecular), and various aspects such as metric learning, outlier detection, correspondence, robustness, stability, registration, classification, recognition, pose estimation, and machine learning, and change detection. Now we solicit again proposals for tracks. You may opt for one of the above themes, or propose new ones. Track organizers are responsible for all aspects of organizing the track, such as: the task, the data collection (copyright issues, etc.), the queries, the ground truth, the experimental design, the evaluation method, the procedural aspects, writing the final paper in collaboration with the collaborators, and submitting it. See below for examples of previous SHREC editions. Contributions in this modality must present research, practice and experience, and original applications. This year, all full papers must be written in English. During the conference, one of the authors of the paper will give an oral presentation to explain the details of the selected work. This presentation can be in English or Spanish, although the slides should be in English. The review process is double-blind, so the submitted paper must be anonymous, eliminating all direct references or indirectly to the authors or their affiliation. Those papers that reviewers highlight for their quality may be selected for publication in the Computers & Graphics journal, as a special section. Following reviewers' advice, the final selection will be made by the Program Chairs and an associate Editor from the journal. These articles will be subject to an additional review cycle before being accepted for final journal publication. Accepted papers not published in Computers & Graphics will be included, by default, in the CEIG'25 Conference Proceedings. These proceedings will be published in OpenAccess format in the Eurographics Digital Library (EG Digital Library), with a DOI. Authors may decide not to appear in the conference proceedings (see below*). SHORT PAPERS --------------------------------------- Submission: papers with a maximum length of 4 pages. This modality will present recent results, work in progress, and new ideas. Accepted short papers will be included, by default*, in the CEIG'25 Conference Proceedings, in OpenAccess format in the Eurographics Digital Library (EG Digital Library), with a DOI. During the conference, one of the authors of the paper will give an oral presentation to explain the details of the selected work, which will be shorter than the presentations of the full papers. *ABSTRACT WITH PRESENTATION MODALITY: --------------------------------------- Submission: as Full or Short papers, selecting abstract with presentation during the submission process. As in previous editions, authors may decide that their paper (title and abstract) appears in the program and is presented like any other, but it does not appear in the official proceedings. This can be especially useful for work in progress that authors want to submit to another conference or journal later. The authors will have a presentation session in which attendees will be able to ask questions and suggest improvements for the final version of the article, in addition to benefiting from a complete and identical review cycle to that received by the rest of the papers sent to the CEIG. ALREADY PUBLISHED PAPERS --------------------------------------- Submission: abstract and reference to the original work (in original format). CEIG is a meeting point for the Computer Graphics community in Spain. Therefore, the presentation of recent quality papers already published in other conferences or journals is invited. These articles will appear in the program and will have an oral presentation like the rest of the CEIG papers, but they will not appear in the official proceedings of the conference. POSTERS --------------------------------------- Submission: one or two-page summary This modality addresses works that present recent results, work in progress, new ideas, and other projects that may be of interest to the general community, but which are too speculative or incomplete to result in a paper presentation. The works presented as posters can be original, already published works, academic projects (Bachelor/Master/PhD Thesis) or industrial projects both finalized or in progress. In addition to the original content, a QR code can be added to link to a video demonstrating the work. We also encourage participants to showcase interactive demonstrations during the poster session, whenever possible. The objective of this modality is to enhance the dissemination and visibility of the works. This modality is an open space for a more informal discussion among the participants of the conference. This year, as a novelty, special emphasis is placed on the participation of both academic (universities) and non-academic profiles (companies or research centres working on the themes of the conference). Accepted posters will be exhibited during all the conference days. There will be a fast-forward session on the first day to shortly introduce the posters, and afterwards, there will be a special session during the conference where the authors will be able to present the details of the poster in-situ to the conference attendees. BEST TFG/TFM AWARD --------------------------------------- Submission: one or two-page summary + TFG/TFM report + representative image of the work. Final Degree Projects (Bachelor's or Master's thesis, TFG/TFM) related to the scope of the conference that have been defended in 2024 (calendar year) may be submitted. A committee will select the best work in each category, which will be published in a special section on the conference website. The best Bachelors thesis may be presented as a short paper, while the best Masters thesis maybe be presented as a full paper, if the authors so wish. BEST THESIS PRIZE --------------------------------------- Doctoral theses related to the conference's field and defended in 2024 (calendar year) may be submitted. A one-page summary of the thesis must be submitted, along with the three publications considered most relevant that are a direct result of the thesis, the thesis in PDF format (preferably a link to an open-access publication repository), and the CV of the thesis author. A committee will select the best work in each category, which will be published in a special section on the conference website. The authors of the awarded works will receive free registration to the CEIG and will have time at the conference for their presentation, as determined in the program. Participants are invited to submit a computer-generated image along with a brief description of its creation process. The image should showcase creativity and technical skill, drawing inspiration from computer graphics and visualization. The accompanying explanation should detail the methods, tools, and inspiration behind the image, not exceeding one page in length. The program chairs will validate that submitted entries conform to the topic and rules of the contest and confirm the participation to the authors. During the conference a committee will evaluate the works based on visual quality, originality, and the clarity of the explanation. The winning image will be featured on the conference website. EUROGRAPHICS 2025 - Call for Posters For its 46th edition, the EUROGRAPHICS 2025 conference will showcase innovative research in Computer Graphics and related areas. Authors are invited to submit proposals for poster presentations of recent results, work in progress, new ideas, and other smaller projects which may be of interest to the general community, but which are still too speculative, incomplete or not of sufficient extent to warrant a (full or short) paper. We encourage submissions from all areas related to computer graphics, such as rendering, modeling, visualization, perception, animation, simulation, virtual reality, and imaging. Submissions from computer vision and machine learning areas are also invited to the Posters track. The Posters track provides young researchers, especially postgraduate students, with valuable opportunities to receive feedback from other researchers and engage in stimulating discussions. One or more authors of accepted posters are expected to be physically present at the conference, to discuss their work and answer questions during the poster session. EGPGV 2025 Call for Papers

The Eurographics Symposium on Parallel Graphics and Visualization (EGPGV) aims to foster the exchange of experiences and knowledge on leveraging and defining new trends in parallel graphics and visualization. This area is important due to the widespread availability of multi-core CPUs, GPUs, and cluster systems. Computationally demanding and data-intensive applications in graphics and visualization are strongly affected by this trend and require novel, efficient parallel solutions. EGPGV 2025 will take place on June 2, 2025, and will be co-located with EuroVis 2025, held June 2 to June 6, 2025, in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. The proceedings of EGPGV will be published in the Eurographics Proceedings Series and the Eurographics Digital Library. EGPGV seeks papers on graphics and visualization that involve parallel computing and/or focus on very large data sets. Papers on techniques, data structures, algorithms, systems, and applications are welcomed. Parallel computing includes high-performance computing and cloud environments, (multi-)GPU computing and heterogeneous, hybrid architectures, and shared and/or distributed memory architectures. Further, papers focused on processing very large data sets (either for visualization or graphics) are welcomed, even if they do not have a particular focus on parallelism. EUROGRAPHICS 2025 - Education Papers Call for papers Deadline: Feb 21, 2025 The scope of the track includes topics in education concerned with computer graphics and related areas, relevant teaching/classroom experience, as well as assignments for use in these subject areas. We invite authors to submit papers, panels and outstanding student projects specifically related but not limited to the following topics: - Teaching Computer Graphics courses to diverse audiences and levels. - Teaching related areas such as Visualisation, Animation, VR/AR/XR, 3D printing, and Game Development. - Designing and teaching face-to-face, online and hybrid courses in the above mentioned areas. - Enabling and exploiting visual tools and techniques to teach in other disciplines. - Promoting undergraduate research in Computer Graphics. **Timeline** All following deadlines are at 23:59 UTC. Regular papers [max. 8 pages] Describe the experience of educators in the fields listed above, bringing ideas on how to make the education process more engaging, efficient, and interesting, attracting students to further research work, discussing innovative opportunities, etc. Whenever possible, we encourage authors to provide evidence of their effectiveness. 2. (Catching) assignments [max. 4 pages] Explain real assignments, providing examples of handouts and starter codes and examples of student works. Explanations and descriptions of when and how to implement and facilitate the assignments in a semester (e.g., orchestration details) are highly recommended. Describing the assessment method is also suggested. Authors may provide all relevant artifacts as supplementary materials during submission and agree to provide access to them online upon acceptance. 3. Outstanding student projects (individual or group) [max. 2 pages] Describe the learning context for the project and show how the student(s) brought creativity to their work. Upon acceptance, authors are expected to demonstrate the project during their presentation. CfP EuroVis 2025 Workshop: VisGap - The Gap between Visualization Research and Visualization Software

Dear colleagues, We would like to invite you to contribute to: ******************************************************************************* VisGap - The Gap between Visualization Research and Visualization Software (co-located with EuroVis 2025) June 2nd, 2025, Luxembourg City, Luxembourg ******************************************************************************* Over the years, many visualization methods and tools have been developed and published by the visualization research community. However, most of these are prototypes and never reach a state that can be reliably used by the target audience, e.g., domain scientists. Also, availability of these prototypes as source code or at least as executables is still the exception rather than the norm. The VisGap workshop aims to shed light on this gap between research and practical applicability, examine the obstacles every researcher faces, and propose solutions to overcome this problem as a community. VisGap'25 aims to gather experts from all over the visualization community in order to advance the way our field works with software, sustains software, and values the effort our members put into developing said software. The scope of VisGap also includes reproducibility and replicability. Both are cornerstones of the scientific method and essential for building trust in visualizations and increasing their acceptance, ultimately fostering adoption in the wild. We also explicitly solicit contributions about visualization systems and tools, and their employment in research and practice. We solicit papers with 4-8 pages, with one additional page allowed for references. All submissions must be original works that have not been published previously in any conference proceedings, magazine, journal, or edited book, or must present a substantial extension of previous work (at least 30%). *** NEW this year *** We solicit extended abstracts of up to 2 pages (plus an additional page for references). The abstracts can present research ideas, projects, opinions, or a collection of problems. All accepted abstracts will be invited to give a lightning talk. Papers and extended abstracts must be submitted through PCS (https://new.precisionconference.com/). All submissions will undergo a single-blind, single-stage peer review process. Accepted papers and extended abstracts will be published by the Eurographics Association, and be stored in the Eurographics Digital Library. The Expressive Symposium explores the capacity of computer graphics, animation, and computational media to be used in artistic, aesthetic, and creative ways. The field can be seen as encompassing problems in expressive understanding, expressive communication, and expressive interaction: * Expressive understanding integrates aspects of computer science, philosophy, psychology, and the fine, applied, and performing arts, investigating theoretical approaches that further our understanding of aesthetic evaluation, perception and meaning. * Expressive communication focuses on imagery and motion, which is expressive rather than * photorealistic, although it may incorporate realistic elements. * Expressive interaction explores models, algorithms, and technologies for sketch-based and XR interfaces, particularly classifying and recognizing hand-drawn shapes as a way to create or edit digital models, text, mathematics, or 3D shapes. The Expressive Symposium explores the capacity of computer graphics, animation, and computational media to be used in artistic, aesthetic, and creative ways. Paper submissions are invited across the broad range of areas covered by Expressive. We welcome papers in several categories: * Research: New algorithms, scientific studies, analysis, or data (i.e., traditional academic papers). Research papers must contain novel results that substantially contribute to the field. * Production: Candid discussion of creating a work (e.g., film, image, game) or developing a tool (e.g., paint or CAD program, software library). We are equally interested in papers on using existing techniques combined in novel ways or their application in a new or unusual context. * Creative: Descriptions of original creative projects or analyses of expressive techniques used in artworks, performances, or computational design projects. Creative papers should highlight artistic innovation, and we encourage artists submitting to the Expressive 2025 Art Exhibition also to submit a creative paper describing their project. * Meta: Research statements that do not contain new results, e.g.: grand challenges, position papers, evaluation standards, surveys, and primers on art/aesthetics/psychophysics for a computer science audience. We welcome papers that discuss the challenges of bridging computational expression across disciplines. Submissions can also overlap more than one of these categories. At Expressive 2025, the Technical Papers program will have two integrated paper tracks: Journal (Elsevier Computers & Graphics) and Conference.
