[General] Open Faculty Position @ RWTH Aachen

Juniorprofessor (W1) in Algorithms for Mesh Generation and Optimization at RWTH Aachen University (Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Natural Sciences) We are seeking qualified applicants for teaching and research in the area of Mesh Generation and Optimization. The starting date is 01.03.2014. The appointment will be for six (6) years (no tenure track). Recognized expertise in the following areas is particularly welcome: Computer Graphics and Geometry Processing. You should have a completed university degree and a special aptitude for scientific work which is generally verified by means of an outstanding doctorate. Ability in and commitment to teaching are essential. German is not necessary to begin but will be expected as a teaching language within the first 5 years.
