Cutting-Edge DataVis Advances. Inspiring Life Science Breakthroughs.
Registration is now open for VIZBI 2025, the 15th international meeting on Visualizing Biological Data, taking place 8–11 April | 📅 at the University of Cambridge, UK — and online.
VIZBI features a three-day Workshop with talks from pioneering computational biologists working in emerging fields that are reshaping biology and medicine. Each speaker is also asked to identify key visual analytics challenges in their field, highlighting where new approaches are needed. Thus, the Workshop provides a concise, curated overview of recent discoveries, ongoing challenges, and opportunities for innovation in life sciences.
Launched in 2010, the VIZBI Workshops have brought together over 2,000 participants, fostering new collaborations between computer scientists, data visualization researchers, and life scientists. For VIZBI 2025, we invite you to contribute your expertise to help address new, unsolved challenges that will be raised during this year's meeting.
VIZBI also offers a one-day Masterclass, an intensive, one-day training in foundational visualization methods, web-based visualization, data-driven storytelling, and complexity and aesthetics. Learn directly from leading practitioners Drew Berry (WEHI, Australia), Daniel Haehn (UMass Boston, USA), Barbora Kozlíková (Masaryk U., Czechia), Andy Lomas (Goldsmiths, UK), and Christian Stolte (Cellarity, USA).
Register now to secure your spot, connect with global thought leaders, and explore visualizations that are transforming the life sciences. Upload your poster by 31 March so you can present your research at the Workshop.
