                    EuroVis'05 - Symposium on Visualization

                           Weetwood Hall, Leeds, U.K.
                               1st-3rd June 2005

                            CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

EuroVis'05, the European Symposium on Visualization, is the seventh
conference in
a series co-sponsored by Eurographics and the IEEE VGTC*;  previous
editions of the
series were titled "VisSym". EuroVis'05 features a programme covering
recent advances
in both scientific and information visualization, and addressing both
basic research
and applications.  A full technical programme can be found at

www.comp.leeds.ac.uk/eurovis/programme.html

Registration for EuroVis is now open. The conference is being held at
Weetwood Hall,
a special-purpose venue in the city of Leeds.  Accommodation is
available either at
the venue itself or in nearby hotels.  Leeds is well served with
transport connections; Leeds-Bradford airport is 20 minutes by taxi from
the conference venue, with connecting
services to Amsterdam, Dublin, and UK cities. There are regular and
frequent train
connections to Manchester Airport, with many European and international
flights.  The
centre of Leeds, with its Victorian galleries and shopping malls,
restaurants and
vibrant nightlife, is 15 minutes travel by bus from the venue.

Registration and accommodation details can be found on the conference
web site,

www.comp.leeds.ac.uk/eurovis.

A social event involving a trip into the Yorkshire Dales National Park
for dinner
at the Red Lion Inn is planned.  Leeds itself is a gateway to the Dales
area, and
is a short train journey from the historic city of York.

* Pending final IEEE approval.
