Lecturer or Associate Professor in Computer Science

We are looking for an academic who will make a strong contribution to our teaching, to the delivery of an exceptional student experience, and to our research in Computer Graphics, Computer Vision and Visualization.

We have a thriving taught Masters programme in High-Performance Graphics and Games Engineering, spanning mathematical foundations of computer graphics, geometric modelling and processing, rendering (both offline and real-time), animation and simulation, and game engine construction. You will be expected to contribute to the delivery of this Masters programme; opportunities also exist for teaching across a wide range of the undergraduate, taught postgraduate Computer Science syllabus in Leeds, overseas in our partner universities, and our fully-online programmes.

We are seeking an outstanding candidate with a track record of excellence in graphics, vision or visualization. You will have the experience and capability to deliver outstanding teaching in these areas, with the vision and drive to tackle new challenges. Your research will align with the school’s research theme in computational science and engineering, and you will work closely with other staff in the theme.
