[General] 2 Research Scientists / Postdocs in Fluid Simulation

The Computer Graphics and Multimedia Systems Group at the University of Siegen is looking for two Research Scientists and/or Post Docs (fulltime position, salary scale 13 TV-L) The targeted field of research comprises simulation and visualization of massive particle quantities, especially for liquids and gases (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics). You will work in a team of doctoral students on state-of-the-art methods for physical-based visual effects and develop new concepts and algorithms in this area. You have a very good scientific degree (diploma or master) in computer science (or equivalent) and good English language skills. In addition, good to very good knowledge in object-oriented programming (C ++) under Linux/Unix or Windows, we expect solid knowledge in the mathematical foundations of computer graphics and in the programming of graphics hardware (GPUs), as well.
