SMI gathers a wide community of researchers, developers, practitioners, and students in academia and industry. SMI 2018 Symposium will be held on June 6-8 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal. It will be hosted at Instituto Superior Técnico, conveniently located a walking distance from the city center and only 15 min drive from Lisbon International Airport, a short flight away from most European cities and several intercontinental flights connect Lisbon to several overseas destinations. Nevertheless, frequent connection flights to European hubs provide an efficient alternative for those who travel from cities without direct flights to Lisbon. Besides attending the technical program and the two fantastic keynote talks by Baining Guo and Hao Zhang, you can also take advantage of the proximity with Bilbao and participate on SPM 2018 conference: either take one of the several 1h30m direct flights or enjoy the eight drive through the beautiful Iberian Peninsula.
