Dear colleagues,

there is one open PhD position to work on the topic of Material Appearance Modeling and Acquisition at the Computer Graphics and Visualization Group (TU Delft). The activities will focus on improving appearance acquisition methods and/or enhancing appearance representation. We are particularly interested in designing simple devices for appearance capture, and in methods to combine multi-scale data for efficient data acquisition and representation.

Apart from becoming part of the lively and exciting CGV Group, TU Delft offers a rich multi-disciplinary scenario where the candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with researchers from other areas, such as material engineering and industrial design.
