PhD Fellowships in Cyprus including topics on VR for Well-Being
The Research Centre on Interactive Media, Smart System and Emerging Technologies in Nicosia, Cyprus (http://rise.org.cy), announces five (5) PhD Fellowships under various Multidisciplinary Research Groups (MRGs): http://www.rise.org.cy/en-gb/media/news/announcement-of-rise-phd-fellowships/
The opening includes topics on VR for Well-Being:
- VR-based motor rehabilitation with smart progress monitoring (Topic 7)
- VR-based mental / social well-being and assessment through bio-measurements (Topic 8)
The successful candidates of the above topics:
- will be assigned to the Research Centre’s ‘Virtual Reality for Well Being’ MRG, (http://www.rise.org.cy/en-gb/research/research-groups/virtual-reality-for-well-being/), lead by Dr Despina Michael-Grigoriou
- will be able to attend the Research Centre’s Doctoral Training Program
- will be based at the Research Centre (Cyprus) and registered at the Cyprus University of Technology
- will have a placement at the MIRALab (http://www.miralab.ch/), at the University of Geneva (Switzerland), directed by Prof. Nadia Magnenat-Thalmann
