Dear all,

The GraphDeco group at Inria Université Côte d'Azur (France) is looking for a postdoc candidate to start in fall on the topic of "Visual program induction for sketch-based graphics design".

The goal of the project is to help graphics designers create reusable data visualizations by sketching. To do so, we plan to build on recent progress in neurosymbolic programming to convert hand-drawn sketches into parametric shapes suitable for data visualization. The topic is thus at the frontier of computer graphics (procedural modeling, sketch-based modeling) and machine learning (program synthesis), and will be part of a collaborative project with experts in human-computer interaction and information visualization.

Interested candidates can directly contact me by email. I will also attend Eurographics where I would be happy to have a chat.

Best regards,
Adrien Bousseau
