Please find below the second call for papers for Motion, Interaction and Games (MIG) 2019, an  ACM SIGGRAPH Conference in cooperation with Eurograhics. We are pleased to annouce three great key-note speakers : Markus Gross, Taku Komura and Karan Singh. Extended versions of our best papers will published in IEEE TVCG and in Computer and Graphics.

Call for papers

The 12th annual ACM/SIGGRAPH conference on Motion, Interaction and Games (MIG 2019, formerly Motion in Games) will take place in Newcastle upon Tyne, England,  28th - 30th Oct 2019.

The goal of the Motion, Interaction, and Games conference is to be a platform for bringing together researchers from interactive systems and animation, and have them present their most recent results, initiate collaborations, and contribute to the advancement of the research area. The program will consist of regular paper sessions for long and short papers, posters,, and invided  talks by a selection of internationally renowned speakers from Academia and the Industry.  More on the conference website:  http://www.mig2019.website/

We invite submissions of original, high-quality papers in any of the topics of interest (see above) or any related topic. Each submission should be 7-10 pages in length for a long paper,  or 4-6 pages for a short paper. They will be reviewed by our international program committee for technical quality, novelty, significance, and clarity.


All of the accepted long and short papers will be presented during sessions at the conference. They will be archived in the ACM Digital Libraries with their own DOIs. All submissions will be considered for the Best Paper, Best Student Paper, and Best Presentation awards, which will be conferred during the conference.


Authors of selected best papers will be invited to submit extended and significantly revised versions to be considered for publication in a special section of IEEE Transactions on Visualizations and Computer Graphics (TVCG, Impact Factor 3.078),  or  of  Computers & Graphics (C&G, Impact Factor: 1.200).


Submission

Papers should be anonymized for double-blind reviewing, and formatted using the SIGGRAPH formatting guidelines (sigconf).
