This paper presents an appearance model based on real measurements of melanin and hemoglobin, which is efficiently coupled to a geometric facial-animation rig. Optical Computing for Fast Light Transport Analysis http://www.siggraph.org/asia2010/content/attendees/techpapers/24 This paper shows how to efficiently perform numerical computations on a scene's unknown transport matrix (eigenvector analysis, low-rank approximation, inversion) by doing them partially in optics with projectors and cameras. Context-Based Search for Models http://www.siggraph.org/asia2010/content/attendees/techpapers/28 This paper introduces a context-based search engine that uses information about the supporting scene a user is building to find good models.
