A Special Issue of the Elsevier Journal "Simulation Practice and Theory"
about
Programmable Graphics Hardware is planned for 2005.
Authors of papers which explore simulation studies and algorithms utilizing
graphics hardware are invited to participate in the special issue.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- discrete transforms on a GPU
- (linear) operators on a GPU
- simulation of natural phenomena
- geometry processing and optimization
- physically-based visual simulation
- computational geometry
- image processing
- volume processing
- computer vision
- physically based animation
- flow simulation
Results of practical significance with an adequate comprehension of graphics
hardware will be considered. Each submission fitting in the scope of this
call
will be peer-reviewed. The content of submitted papers has to be novel.
