We invite submissions of new ideas, and encourage all forms of research creativity and originality. We are interested in practice, experience, novel applications, technological or theoretical papers, with the ambition of setting the standard in the field and stimulating future trends. Accepted full papers will be presented at <http://eurographics2017.fr/> Eurographics 2017 and published in a special issue of the Eurographics journal <https://www.eg.org/index.php/publications/computer-graphics-forum> Computer Graphics Forum, and the submissions will undergo a two-step review process. We encourage submissions from all areas related to computer graphics, including but not limited to rendering, modeling, animation, simulation, visualization, virtual and augmented reality, display technology, image processing, visual computing, computational fabrication, human-computer interaction, and related disciplines. Submission Electronic submission of all papers is mandatory and will be conducted using the Submission and Review Management <https://srmv2.eg.org/COMFy/Conference/EG_2017> (SRMv2) system. Papers must be written in English, must be anonymized, and must be formatted according to the Eurographics Computer Graphics Forum guidelines. The publication guidelines and LaTeX templates <https://srmv2.eg.org/COMFy/Conference/EG_2017/Instruction> are available on SRMv2. Accepted papers must be presented orally in English at Eurographics 2017. Review of full papers is based on a double-blind reviewing approach, so please be sure to remove all personal data (such as authors, affiliations, etc.) from your submission. References to your own work should be made in the third person to maintain anonymity. Reviewers are asked to keep confidential all materials sent to them for evaluation. Note that there is no maximum length imposed on papers. However, papers should only be as long as they need to be, but not longer. Reviewers might rank submissions perceived as being either repetitive or unnecessarily long lower than they would score concisely written papers. Double Submission Policy Authors are required to include a declaration stating that the scientific contribution of their work is original: this means that no paper with similar results has been published, or is submitted for consideration at another venue during the review period of Eurographics 2017. Any paper that does not adhere to these requirements will be rejected without review. Re-Submitted Material For papers that have previously been reviewed by other venues and have been rejected or withdrawn, the authors are encouraged to provide a cover letter to describe the history of the paper (however, this does not imply reviewer continuity). This cover letter can also answer the comments made in the previous reviews, by either listing the changes that were made to comply with them, or discussing/rebutting/clarifying some elements if need be. Though not mandatory, this procedure is strongly encouraged. The cover letter has to be submitted through SRM as an Additional Attachment (see last section of the SRM upload form for details). Rebuttal, Notification, Publication, and Prizes * The reviews will be made available to the authors on December 1st, 2016. During a rebuttal period from December 1st to December 6th, 2016, authors will be able to submit a brief document to address any factual errors or clarify any issues raised by reviews. * The date for notification of the results of the first round of the review process is December 23rd, 2016. * Revised versions of the papers conditionally accepted in the first round must be submitted by January 18th, 2017. * The final notification of the outcome of the second reviewing round will be made on February 1st, 2017. * The camera-ready version of accepted papers will be due on February 15th, 2017. * From all accepted and presented papers, an international jury will select the best papers. The best paper will receive the Günter Enderle Award, including a cash prize of 1,000 Euros, presented at Eurographics 2017. The Visualization Group at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) has an open position for a 4-year PhD student Visual Analytics for Finance and Insurance The position is in the NWO RATE Analytics project, a joint research project between TU Eindhoven, Tilburg University, Rabobank and Achmea. The overall goal of this project is to develop foundations and techniques for next generation big data analytics, facilitating the development of a wide range of applications in banking and insurance, including, but not limited to, intrusion detection, transactions and insurance fraud detection, loan default prediction, prediction of extreme (health-insurance) claims, and data-driven product development. We are looking for candidates with a strong background and interest in Visual Analytics and/or information visualization, who are challenged by real-world problems and data. Accepted STARs will be published in Computer Graphics Forum State-of-the-Art Reports (STARs) provide an up-to-date and comprehensive overview of a special topic of current interest related to Computer Graphics. We welcome submissions on all topics relevant to EUROGRAPHICS, and particularly encourage STARs on topics that have not been covered in any recent previous STAR. A STAR can also address the use of Computer Graphics techniques in a different scientific discipline or in industrial practice. For examples of suitable STAR topics, please refer to the EUROGRAPHICS digital library. At EUROGRAPHICS 2017, the authors of a STAR will be given 90 minutes to present the report at a level that also allows non-experts in the particular domain to follow this presentation. However, it is recommended that papers be up to 20 pages excluding references and the authors' short bios, to conform to the general recommendation for CGF survey papers. Each STAR will be reviewed by three members of the IPC who are experts in the respective topic. Accepted STARs will be published in a special issue of Computer Graphics Forum, which appears right before the Eurographics conference. Submissions needing a major revision will be transferred to the standard submission track of Computer Graphics Forum. To demonstrate the relevant expertise needed to produce the proposed STAR, authors are required to submit the brief biographies of all authors as a piece of supplementary materials. Under the auspice of the Eurographics organization, the workshop will be held on December 8th in Liège, Belgium. Once again, we expect fruitful exchanges by the involvement of the computer graphics, the geoinformation and the GIS communities. Contributions addressing the following topics are welcome: Modelling the static and dynamic features of the city (spatio-temporal data) Multi-scale geometric data (from building scale to urban scale) Multi-scale temporal data (from real time to history time) Visualisation of several urban data layers (aggregated indicators) Visual analytics using urban data (decision making processes and CAD) Publications Expected contributions are research papers, 6 pages in EG publication format, presenting unpublished methods, algorithms and techniques with established results. Call for Tutorials The Eurographics 2015 Tutorials Committee invites you to propose tutorials teaching the technical background of a given subject, or demonstrating its potential creative applications. Tutorials are intended to show what can be done, but even more importantly, how this is done and what kind of tools can be used to do it. In a proposal for a tutorial you should consider that tutorial attendees come from diverse backgrounds, ranging from research and development to education and application. We are soliciting half-day and full-day tutorial proposals at the beginning, intermediate, or advanced level in all areas pertinent to Computer Graphics. Half-day tutorials are about three hours, plus a coffee break in the middle. Full-day tutorials are twice that long, plus two coffee breaks and a longer lunch break. Full-day tutorials should be motivated by sufficient scientific material. Tutorial proposals are about 4-5 pages in length, clearly indicating the audience that is addressed as well as the syllabus of instruction. They will be reviewed by the tutorial chairs, supported by external reviewers. The final selection will be based on quality of the submission, qualification of the presenters, relevance to the conference topics, and balance of topics. Each accepted half day tutorial will be granted a free conference registration for one speaker, while each full-day tutorial will be granted a maximum of two free conference registrations. Course Notes Sample course notes, although not required in the submission, are highly encouraged to accompany the tutorial proposals. Notes may include original text, formatted according to the Eurographics publication guidelines, reprints of earlier papers (subject to copyright approval), slides and any other material the authors consider useful. All course notes of accepted tutorials will be distributed to conference participants online and on USB-Sticks. Eurographics 2017 call for workshops

*Call for Workshop Proposals* Eurographics 2017 offers for the first time, a Specialized Workshops Track in addition to the co-located Eurographics Workshops and Symposia. The workshops of the Specialized Workshops Track should focus on topics relevant to the Eurographics researchers community and be a forum for discussion and interaction among participants. They should differ from the main topics covered in the conference and in existing Eurographics Workshops and Symposia, yet attract fellow members of the community. The Specialized Workshops Track is integrated into the conference program of Eurographics 2017. Accepted workshops will be held on April 24th as half-day or full-day events. Every workshop of the Specialized Workshops Track issues operates semi-autonomously. A workshop will issue its own call for papers and will decide on acceptance of submitted papers. Each workshop will compile its own program.
